Our Legacy
Cerda Legal is a Colorado-based Workers' Compensation law firm dedicated to protecting injured workers with honesty, skill and unwavering compassion. Our roots run deep: the firm's lineage dates back over 35 years, originating in a respected practice known for fierce advocacy and an extraordinary record of trying thousands of cases on behalf of injured workers.
Our firm was built by attorneys who devoted their careers to injured workers and brought deep experience from trail work to administrative law judging, to the people we serve. The firm has carried forward decades of experience from earlier iterations.
Each predecessor contributed legal knowledge, professional norms, and a deep well of case experience, and Cerda Legal was established to continue that mission with renewed clarity and leadership.
Establishment of Cerda Legal
Cerda Legal was re‑established in 2022, following Attorney Adán Cerda’s years of work within the prior firm, where he began in 2016. Having practiced law in Colorado since 2011, he was a natural successor to carry the practice into its next stage. His transition into the principal role ensured continuity for long‑standing clients and preserved the firm’s experience and values.
This transition represented both stability and thoughtful modernization. It was not simply a rebranding, but a defined shift in leadership and direction. As principal, Attorney Cerda brings bilingual representation, extensive trial experience in Colorado and Philadelphia, and a commitment to service, ethics, and confidentiality.
